NEW YORK CITY’S SNOW STORM YESTERDAY

I am trying to finish a short story and what I really need is a good snow storm to keep me indoors and plunking away at the computer keyboard. I have a beginning and an ending. All I’m asking for is that the link, the bones and the guts of the story to come to me. Why did the muse give me only a start and a conclusion? Was she too busy with more important and successful writers?

Yesterday in NYC

Here’s a photo of the pathetic snow storm we had yesterday. I almost got my wish to be snowbound and I worked hard all day hoping for the snow to pile higher and higher. But, the storm petered-out mid morning and I still had such a long way to go with the story. The weather forecast is for more snow tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday. I wonder if my muse has seen the weather report?

But, good news. I have a food article coming out in Kings River Life Magazine in a couple weeks and also a short story of revenge scheduled to be published also in KRL Magazine in about a month. So, stay tuned and I live in hope that in good weather or bad, the writer in me is always at work.
