WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST OF HEALTH AND HAPPINESS IN THIS COMING NEW YEAR!!
I have a new short story published in Kings River Life Magazine. It’s a dark Christmas Tale titled A VOICE TO REMEMBER. It was first published in the 2007 New York City Sisters In Crime Anthology, MURDER NEW YORK STYLE. It wasn’t a Christmas story back then, but now it is. Click here to read the story.
Marge this is a haunting wonderful story. I read it with great pleasure. bb
I thought this was an excellent story the first time I read it. It works well in various transformations. Thelma Straw
Happy Holidays to you and Steve
bit of an adventure here I’m afraid :
“Worst ice storm in recent memory” Our power has been out for almost 24 hrs – just came back on midday today but Terry and I (and her brothers) were up in North York trying to get her Dad (whose power has been off for three days) out over the ice in his wheelchair and down to emergency at TG. Sidewalks are impassable and trees and powerlines down everywhere – there is no Salt to be found anywhere – – just got back in and Peter is safely at emergency with Terry, her Mom and all the other sick seniors that are freezing in their houses.
Terry’s Mom will stay with us for a bit – at least until power is restored in North York – although they are predicting that some areas will be without power until after Christmas and it is going down to minus 17 tonight – amazing. Is this climate change?
Her Dad is not doing well – hope he will improve once in hospital (again)
But all that said we are trying to get into the spirit of the Season
We have a Christmas tree – as yet undecorated – but what the Hell
All the best for the season and we are trying to book a few days in NY in winter or Spring
Love
Eric and Terry
As we sail into 2014 I wish for you and all your loved ones a very peaceful and satisfyingly productive New year. Thelma Straw in Manhattan
